1954 film by Anthony Mann
The Glenn Miller Story is a 1954 American biographical film about the American trombonist and bandleader Glenn Miller, directed by Anthony Mann. It stars James Stewart as Miller (in his second non-western collaboration with Mann), alongside June Allyson. The film was released in February 1954 and was nominated for three Academy Awards, winning for Best Sound Recording.
