2000 science fiction dark comedy film by Peter Segal

Nutty Professor II: The Klumps is a 2000 American science fiction comedy film directed by Peter Segal and starring Eddie Murphy and Janet Jackson (replacing Jada Pinkett-Smith from the first film) . It is the second and final installment in the Nutty Professor remake film series and the sequel to the 1996 film The Nutty Professor.

In contrast to the previous film, subplots centered on the parents of protagonist Sherman Klump occupy a substantial part of the film. Like the first film, the sequel's theme song is "Macho Man" by Village People, which this time is played during the end credits.

Unlike its predecessor, the film received generally negative reviews from critics and was a box-office failure.
