Angela's Ashes was released on 25 December 1999 by Paramount Pictures in the United States and on 14 January 2000 by Universal Pictures International (through United International Pictures) in the United Kingdom. The film received mixed reviews from critics and grossed $37.3 million against a $25 million budget.
